This lovely gentle dog arrived in the UK at the beginning of October at her UK foster home. Margarethe, was saved from the local public kill shelter. We treated her heartworm but despite her lovely nature, she just wasn't getting noticed from adoption. This is what her foster mum says:
We shortened her name and she knows it well now. Dear Greta  is continuing to make progress. As you can see she is good with other dogs, also cats. She is housetrained and walks really well on a lead. She likes to travel in the car and she has been friendly towards everyone she has met. She has the softest fur ever and loves a cuddle. We are working on giving her confidence walking next to busy roads but she is already more relaxed than she was.
This lovely girl would suit an experienced home with another friendly dog from whom to gain confidence or a savvy, experienced home as an only dog.
