Bao, 2015
This lovely guy is the very last of the ‘Church 18’ to be in our shelter. Their story made news at the time - when we rescued 18 starved souls who had all been individually chained to pillars around the courtyard of a church seminary building. For some reason Bao was not in the pen with the majority of his fellow rescues in our shelter. We made a point this year of seeking him out. We discovered that he is just as sweet as all the other churchies. He was a little shy to start with this year’s volunteers, but this really was his first exposure to strangers since pre covid.
Bao will need another dog in the home. He is used to canine company. Bao is approximately 18 kgs and 46 cms to the shoulder.
