Max isn't a big dog, small cocker spaniel size at biggest. But this was still too big for his owners after 7 years or more of owning him. They wanted a smaller dog so they just put him out in the pavement and shut the gate. He waited for 5 days. Aura drove past one day and back later in that day. He was still there so she stopped to ask a neighbour who explained the situation.
