HELLO
We’re Barking Mad Dog Rescue. We’re a UK registered charity (1160985) working to improve the lives of abandoned dogs in Romania.
We have a hands-on team in Romania at our shelters in Constanta , where we care for around 350 dogs and puppies, many of whom have been rescued from unimaginable abuse and neglect.
We also provide food to another shelter with over 100 dogs elsewhere in Romania.
In total, we feed around 500 dogs every single day.
We aim to rehome as many of the saved dogs as we can.
In the UK, we have a team of volunteer adoption specialists working with potential adopters and foster carers across the country. Although we aim to rehome as many of the saved dogs as we can, some unfortunately will never be suitable to make that journey. These dogs are available for sponsor here.

DOG OF THE MONTH
Jess
Jess has been with us for a few months now. We were so surprised to see she had a chip! This doesn't happen often for dogs who are dumped near us. The owners were called and lo and behold, they lived in Spain now and had passed her on when they left and of course, they couldn't remember who they had given her to...
Jess is safe with Aura at the house in the village but she so needs her own people. She is ten this year and could be someone's best friend. Also, Jess would be happy as an only dog too. She is quite lively still so would be up for a good walk too.
As an older dog, we would be happy to accept a lifelong foster offer or even a foster offer full stop. This lovely girl so deserves someone.
